Tuy nhiên vấn đề này đã không được Tỉnh bang thông qua. Cũng theo The Decent Work and Health Network báo cáo nhấn mạnh rằng 58% người lao động ở Canada, cũng như hơn 70% người lao động kiếm được ít hơn 25.000 đô không được hưởng lương những ngày nghỉ ốm.
